comfort for the fire fighters
Our made in the U.S.A. product was branded with the intention of being specifically distributed at legal marijuana dispensaries; it does not contain THC or CBD. It's a straight up FDA approved eye drop comparable to major drug store brands -- and it's designed to rejuvenate dry, tired, red-eyes.
Our product can be something of value to fire fighters who are at increased risk for COVID-19 because of the inclination to rub their tired, smoke-battered eyes. While eye drops aren't on the list of PPE (personal protective equipment), drops can help reduce the impulse of eye touching that is part of how the virus is spread. Let's get our eye drops to fire fighters before California's fire-season begins!
a simple concept
eye drops as part of personal protective equipment
The article, "Stop Touching your Face" in the New York Times recommends the use of eye drops to prevent the eye-rubbing that is contributing to the contagion of Covid-19. Likewise, the American Ophthalmology Association have indicated that eye drops can reduce the eye-touching contributing to the pandemic's spread. Not only that, but eye drops can simply be a comforting solution for weary fire fighters with dry & tired eyes.
When Covid hit, the launch plans for our start-up company (our life's work since 2016) came to a screeching halt. Understandably, like many start-ups with 2020 launch plans, we were distraught. But then we realized our product could actually help fire fighters and even reduce the virus' spread. We became inspired to donate our entire inventory. Since we don't have the financial ability to donate it outright, we are seeking the support of corporate partners and individuals who are willing to fund our initiative to donate our inventory of 24,000 units of eye drops throughout Alameda & San Mateo county, CA. We appreciate anything you can do to make this donation happen!
